Adamu was a Project Manager at Kashimbila Power Limited, who bid for and won the concession of Kashimbila Hydroelectric Power Plant, having a 40MW electricity capacity. Adamu holds a Degree in Computer Engineering and MSc in Project Management from the University of Sunderland. He is a Member Nigerian Society of Engineers and Member Council for the regulation of Engineering in Nigeria
